Wow, Geld und Zeit müsste man haben! Ich hätte bei sowas jedenfalls einen riesen Spass!

The car is now finally primed inside and in the engine bay, and will be painted completely tonight. Engine and driveline will be installed this weekend. We`ve also dissambled the rear axle to paint it and install the Ikeya parts when they are here. Here`s how the car looks now:

The engine bay is painted now, only the roll-cage and the inside left. Engine will be mounted next weekend since we didn`t get the Ikeya parts in time.

Soo. Die Karosserie wird nun versandfertig verpackt und an mich geschickt




Time for a new update guys, things doesn`t happen as fast as we want it.. Still we haven`t received the Ikeya parts, but we`ve done some painting
The roll-cage is painted and now it`s the last part of the car, the inside. Everything is masked now, and hopefully our parts arrives tomorrow. The rear axle is also primed to get a new layer of paint to make this car 110%

Here`s the newest update, a lot has happened since the last one.

First it`s the paint inside the car, the result came out really well and we think it fits superb with the CF.

Since we want this car to be 100% down to the last bolt we`ve grinded and painted almost all parts for the rear axle. We`ve put many hours in just cleaning bolts. It`s worth it, looks amazing when you`re finished.

To fit our new Euro-spec brakes we had to cut a little in them, but it came out well. Doesn`t have any pics of it though..

The rear axle were now ready to get our new parts from Ikeya Formula installed, with some other goodies aswell. But first we grinded it down and painted as we did on all other parts back there.

D2 Coilovers.. Will be replaced afterwards



Here`s the rear axle finished, looks real nice.. A big difference from now and before.

Frage: Die Querlenker unten, an denen das Federbein befestigt, ist noch original. Gibt es dieses auch im Zubehoer von "Ikea"?

mich wunderts das die bei dem aufwand die ori bremsen nehmen und nicht auch irgendwelche geilen dinger außem zubehör... weil wenn schon, denn schon!!!

Leck mich fett..... die verwirklichen einen Traum... wenn man doch nur die Kohle hätte...

Einfach traumhaft, ich kann es garnicht erwarten das fertige Auto zu sehen!

Aber ich verstehe auch nicht, warum sie weiterhin die original Bremsen verbauen und nicht welche von Brembo oder einem anderen Hersteller nehmen, bei dem Projekt kommt es doch auf die 4.000 Euro auch nicht mehr drauf an.

Genau. Und wenn Geld keine Rolle spielt, könnte man ja
noch 'nen "Fast-and-the-Furious"-Sticker ans Auto kleben.
