Seitenspiegel

Hat hier schon jemand die Seitenspiegel zerlegt ?
Und kann mir beschreiben wie ich das Glas abbekomme ... es sollte nämlich ganz bleiben ...

Oder kann mir jemand die Seiten aus dem Handbuch ablichten, in dem das beschrieben ist ?
Dürfte das Karosseriebuch sein, habe ich aber nicht ...

To take away the side mirror you need to take out the door panel, but before that, roll down the window.
Then you need to unscrew the speaker box, and carefully tear of the plastic insulation film.
Now you see the two 10mm bolts, open them and the mirror will pop out now remove the connection cable.
You don't need to remove the window to do this.
but if you insist you must unscrew the window from it's holder and remove the upper stoppers if I remember. When you put it back you need to readjust the window to the roof frame whit the stoppers.

You dont have to remove the window ! Its a little of work but you can do it without removing it
I did that myself when my car was repainted last year. Small hands and some patience will help you But Marc wants to know how he can remove the mirror glass itself from the mirror.
Now the rest in German:
Marc, soweit ich mich erinnere sind die Gläser nur geklickt. Die sitzen aber sehr stramm (was ja auch logisch ist).
100%ig sicher bin ich mir allerdings nicht. Bevor du aber die Spiegel schrottest, warten wir lieber auf andere Meinungen.
