Full Carbon Supra

It`s updated now, and I will try to upgrade so you can see the rest of the pics aswell.

Time for another update as things are happening

First up is the fuel system, we took the hoses in the channel under the drivers door.



Strapped into the front wheel area.



Here you can see it go down in to the darkness in the channel. We took some gum around them in the entrance to avoid rubbing in the steel that will result in a fuel-leak.



The brackets to the doors being sanded and painted before install.



The doors installed as a test, they fitted very nice. We just have to install the locks in the rear of the doors and they`re ready.





We`ve also installed the switches in the dashboard, came out really well.



And the finished result with indicators and everything.







More in the rear, the battery will soon be installed.





Some of the whole car as it is now.





Right now we are waiting for some bearings to the rods before we can install the engine. Almost everything around it, as fuel system, electronics, dry sump are ready, so hopefully she will be running soon

The oil cooler for the differential has got hoses and a oilpump installed now, ready to run











Some gum were the hoses are penetrating the steel so they don`t get damaged:



The electrical servo pump are also mounted in the back:





The dry sump are back on the bottom of the engine:





The doors are on on both sides:





And to the last, the Supra got some company tonight

We`ve relocated the servopump, now it`s on the firewall.

New camaxles will be here in the start of the next week (Big thanks to Eric at Twinsturbo Motorsports Inc again, thanks Eric), then the engine will soon be running



Test to see if the manifold can keep the turbo away from the suspensiontowers. It did, so thanks to Zohair at Boost Logic





Hoses for the dry sump is soon in place, take a look down on the intake side and you can see them.

Protection for the oilcooler`s are installed:



Here the oil-cooler for the transmission will be installed.



The electrical system are 99% ready, just some small things before it`s finished.







The wirings for the headlights are there aswell.



Welding brackets for the oil-pump.



And the oil-pump test-installed to check how long hoses etc. we need.







We testinstalled the turbo and the manifold to check that everything will fit and the turbo don`t touch the suspension-tower. It didn`t, but here`s some pics of the engine bay.

New camshafts has arrived as we decided to change the old HKS 272`s. A pair of brand new HKS 280`s arrived from Eric Kozeluh at Twins Turbo Inc. Big thanks Eric, perfect as always!

Only thing missing now, some adjustment to make them work perfect

I`m not quite shure.. It has been more expensive than we thought.. But around $7000 somewhere..

New update:

Here`s some pics, they doesn`t show all the things we`ve done. A lot of small things that aren`t visible has taken some time aswell

We`ve installed a OMP firesystem. It`s a tank filled with foam that will be sent through the system with 9 injectors placed around the car. It`s a cheap insurance for this car in case it takes fire. You can see the tank back there.



The dashboard has been clearcoated



Front window is installed.



New wheels has arrived, Ultralite`s. 18".



The digital display is installed and ready to run.



The engine is 99% finished mecanically, need`s mapping and then it`s complete.



The exhaust system is on. It`s 4 inches from the turbo and 5" at the muffler.



Heatprotected a little



Carbon parts are sanded and ready for paint. The car will be sprayed with clearcoat in the coming week.
